Morning Coffee

Good morning Everyboy. I hope you guys are having the fun you deserve just as I told you guys yesterday. Remember it's the last day of the month and the last day of the weekend. You wouldn't wan to miss out on all the fun today. By tomorrow you would start all the hustle afresh so just do this now, have all the fun and go into the new month knowing that you ended this month in style.

I don't usually post on Sundays but +Anu Funke made a good suggestion the other day on something that I did in the past before I started to get steady comments from a couple of you so I think I'll re-introduce it again. Secondly I'll like to discuss a matter that has been going on for a while now even though you guys only noticed it recently. As a matter of fact I think i'll address that first.

So let's do this..

I have a plan for you tomorrow

Good morning everyone!

New president, new projects so we hope for new outcomes, new opportunities, a new nation and a whole lot more but most importantly, we hope that all these new changes are going to be positive ones. Alright a big congrats to Mr President. It's your turn and we expect a whole lot from you. Do us proud boss!

It kind of felt wrong having two morning coffees lined up on the blog page so I decided to go with a little inspiration. Ready?Well even if you aren't ready it doesn't matter just read. You need it. Lol.

 Here we go...

Looking at my calendar this morning I realized that the month was already over. We just have today and tomorrow before we say goodbye to the month of May. This really got me thinking about if it was me or if the year was sprinting faster and faster. Then I thought back to when we were kids, how time seemed to hardly matter to anyone and sometimes the year seems to go on for like ever and the people who had it worse were the ones that waited on celebrations like Easter, Christmas, Children's day and others. Anyhow the years seemed longer because as kids you lived for the moment.
I believe that it is the load of responsibilities that are heaped on us as we are growing that consumes all the time we have and makes the days look like they are going by faster than usual. We hardly get to live in the moment and enjoy a day. We get too caught up in trying to achieve one thing or the other that we forget to spend each moment well and try to concentrate on the moment that we are in. At least have a little fun and live a little. Yes of cos it's good to also keep your mind on your responsibilities but as I always say, life is about balance. You can't keep thinking about only the responsibilities and forget to be alive, to live in the moment. You can't afford to forget how to have fun and just be happy.

So here is what I will like you guys to do

Morning Coffee

First of all I still haven't concluded on the name to give this so just give me a little time and +thelma enemuwe+esit  and +Omogbolahan sodiq good job so far with the suggestions. I really appreciate them and they are all really good ideas. If you guys have any more ideas let me know, although I have to admit that the Morning Coffee thing is beginning to stick but for some reason it just doesn't quite suit me. Might just swing with it at the end though....

Let's rant a little

Morning Coffee (still playing around with names)

Good morning fam!

I just got out of the fuel queue and Mehn! I must tell you, these guys do not care if it is Children's day or a day after that or if you are child even. You need to see the way that gallons were being tossed up and down and out of sight. Anyway it's all good, we hope things get better in no time. I might have to go back and beg for fuel in my gallon because they weren't selling in gallons when I went there but I managed to get for my vehicle.  I also just got to work right now and walked in with a huge smile on my face, a black eye from fighting for the fuel and my smile increased when I saw my boss staring at me with the usual "you late comer". My reasons are very much justified today so he can't touch my salary or torture me with work today....I hope. Lol. I've been very good this month so he had better not use me to play.

As you guys can see I am still playing around with the name to give this my morning rant so what do you guys think of Morning coffee? Good? Catchy? Lame? I sort of don't want everything to have "Ralph" attached to it, I feel it will become too much and tiring for people. So let me know what you guys think.

Let's talk about a couple more things before we get started for the day...

Happy Children's day

Kids...A blessing to every one who has them, is related to them or even as much as comes in contact with them. Naive of their surrounding and yet do not live in fear but in freedom. The purest form of the human beings. Pure in heart, body, mind and soul. They are fragile, weak and tender, cry easily and yet have the feature that qualifies as true strength...they forgive so easily. Though they are quick to cry but that cry can turn into laughter in a nanosecond  and all you have to do is make a silly face, give them an ice cream or their favourite toy. The cutest kind of troublesome, living and breathing natural disasters when they are awake and yet calmer than the calmest of seas when they slumber. Kids...you just gotta love'em

Happy children's day to all the little ones out there. May you all grow to be better than the generations before you. May you all achieve greater heights than those who taught you and those who came before you.

Ralph's coffee ( for lack of a proper name for now)

Good morning AskRalph Fam! How is everybody doing today? I think that Drink called +Trevo  works very well for me because I bought it recently and took it last night. I passed out and slept like last night was my last opportunity to get any sleep for a month or more. In all it was a great one, so thumbs up to the makers. They managed to make a drink that has some serious health benefits, packed with lots of natural ingredients, nothing artificial and most importantly didn't taste like wet chalk.
Alright enough of that and on to the post for this morning which as usual I have no idea what it's going to be about. I think I'll call this morning segment where I just talk generally Ralph's coffee or something else. I'll think up a name for it later so that once you guys see it, you will know what i'm about to do. Come to think of it I don't even take coffee.

I do have a new thing to introduce to the blog though so let's do this...

Life with no network service

 Happy Tuesday Morning everyone!

To my readers in Nigeria, how crazy was your yesterday with the whole fuel crisis. It was crazy at my end, banks closed earlier than usual. Some teachers in schools refused to go to school because the transportation was ridiculously high and their low salary wouldn't cover them. This really went a long way to prove to people that at Nigeria's present state, fuel practically controls all the sectors or at least 99% of the sectors. As I was thinking of everything that was happening, a text came in from my internet and mobile network service providers. I had received such messages on my other networks earlier in the day. All 3 of 'em were bearing the same message. They were contacting their customers to inform them that their would be some down time in network for a while until things stabilize in the country. As I read the message, something crossed my mind.

Have you every considered a life without network services?

Well about nothing in particular, i'm just letting the words flow through my fingers into the keyboard without thinking of 'em as I type.

This is going to be a short one though.

You guys know how crazy my end of week usually is right? Packed with torture and disguised as work from my boss. So y'all ready? Alright then let's do this.

Today, the topic is about your secret to success, your personal secret that is...

Awkward

Lmao! Definitely shouldn't make any kind of eye contact when using this or eating a banana. That's just plane wrong.

So What of you..have you every had any awkward or embarrassing moment in the Gym or during workout while around other people? let's hear your gist.

Labels:

The evil speedster

Lol...my awkward exercise experience. This would be my first story from the fitness and health section of this blog.

Back in the university I hadn't started taking my workouts as serious as I do now. However in secondary school we would workout every once in a while, do some jogging and other exercise but I never realized that it was all child's play that we were doing as at then. So when I got into the university I decided to take my workout more serious. One day I went to the gym to sign up and I was asked to run about twenty minutes around a little area outside the gym. You know, as a new guy that knew nothing about what fitness and endurance was about, I was feeling myself more than I should and trying to show off for the ladies that were present because I thought I was already good from the little I did back in high school.

Hello and a happy Tuesday to each and every single one of you crazy AskRalph family member. Hope you all had a wonderful night. And I hope you all are ready to tackle the new day head on.  If your answer is yes then I have a 'hi5' right here waiting for you. You can come and get it anytime you want. Lol. Well today I'm having a really random day so this mornings post won't be centered on anything in particular. As a matter of fact i'm just typing as things come to my head.

So before we move on to the topic for the day, well actually we don't have a topic for this morning but anyway I'll like to ask which of you dared to get out of bed yesterday and who stayed back? I am sure most of you got out of bed. At least +Omogbolahan sodiq was already out of his house before he read the post so that's one person already, +esit didn't have a choice because she had lives to save, yeap we have a super hero in the name of Esit among us and she is that awesome. Oh and someone slept instead of going for her second lecture yesterday, I won't call her name but she comments here, who can guess who it is. Lol. Anyway I am glad you guys could find the strength to get up and tackle yesterday. If you did or didn't well today is a new day and it's time to get at it again. No food for a lazy man right?

Yeah I bet if you have been on any social media for the past year or so then you must have seen it once or twice. Well this isn't the truth. We are going to be debunking this one today.

I have to apologize for my absence yesterday.  I attended the burial of a close friend who had been battling with a terrible illness for a while. He was laid to rest yesterday and I had to be there for his family.  We still have a couple of things to do today so I am still going to be absent for today. However I thought to make a little announcement on our next giveaway. Y'all ready?...Of cos you are, it's a giveaway.

The mind knows what it wants.

Good morning Fam, hope every single one of you had a great night and is up and ready for another great day. Today we are going to be doing this puzzle I have above and also discuss a little on it. Y'all can see the concept of the puzzle written boldly above right? It says that "The first 3 words you see are what you want in life".

I came across an article online with a similar puzzle and in the article there was a strange fact that was quoted. They had their own cross word puzzle and they explained something. According to them, your mind and heart knows what it wants and transfers the signal to your brain. When you are presented with this kind of puzzle for the first time, almost every other word will make no sense to you until you are able to make out the ones that you want the most. This isn't because you don't know those words but because your mind already knows what it is looking for and is so focused on seeing it that it doesn't recognize any other thing.

Now I don't know how much this applies to the puzzle but I know that it applies to life in one way or the other. I also got this puzzle online but not from the website...

Lower body strength

Let me as you guys a question. When a person says "I work out" what is the first thing that you picture in your head?

Most people picture the person in a gym doing sets of barbell or dumbbell curls and pumps. Some other people picture the person outside running laps or jogging around an area in the morning. While some other people, pervs especially picture the person in the gym trying hard to impress members of the opposite sex. Lol.

Something I have noticed is that hardly does anybody every picture a person doing squats or any other exercise to strengthen their lower body muscles. So today we are going to talk about lower body strength...

Are omissions also lies?

Good morning everyone, how's you all doing today. Something actually crossed my mind out of who knows where and I decided to talk about it this morning and of cos as usual get your own opinions on the matter. So the topic is on Lies and Omissions in relationships.

So let's say you're in a relationship now and probably doing something that you know that is wrong or that would cause an issue between you and your partner. It could be something that you both just don't agree on, it mustn't be morally wrong but that isn't an exception either. Very few people are able to keep tackling the issue head on until an understanding or conclusion is reached. While a whole lot of people either fall back to Lies or Omissions. Now I know you all know the meaning but let me still explain a little still.

Happy new Opportunities

Hol up...Hol up, hol up... we dem boyz! Don't know why but that song has been on repeat in my head for a couple of days now. Guess it has something to do with a particular mood in the bar the other night and the song being played at that particular time. It kinda got stuck in my head since then.
Anyway Good morning and a happy Monday to you AskRalph family memebrs, bv's and first time visitors. Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was mixed with work and fun but generally it was wonderful. This mornings post is just a random reminder on different things mixed with a little inspiration. So you guys ready? Alright then...

Learn to work your abs every second of the day.

Hello and good afternoon everyone! I kind of got tied up at work yesterday right after my first post and didn't get the chance to post my Tuesday Tip. It was going to be on our BEDROOM BUSINESS category but I missed it yesterday. Today I am going to make up with a tip but it's not going to be in that category, instead we are going to do fitness. I know the bedroom business would have been more interesting but we can't neglect our health now can we? Don't worry i'll make up with something interesting later.

So today I am going to teach you guys a very simple but not easy to remember tip I use to keep my abs in check even when I am not always exercising...

Don't be afraid to ask for assistance.

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a good night like I did. I think I have to cut back on my drinking a bit. I can't believe I was out with my friends on a Monday night. Anyways I had my reason. I Went back home to an angry tone from a certain someone and had to beg and seduce my way into forgiveness. Good thing I'm not too proud to admit when I've done something wrong. Anyways it was a friends birthday and she invited us out so I couldn't disappoint her. Nice party Uju, happy birthday one more time to you...

Before I start this post I just want to say that if you are are still sad over Mayweather remaining undefeated then I'll be serving panadol later on today so just meet me up and i'll give you your own. lol.

So today we are talking of asking for assistance. It's going to be a short one...I hope...

Monday Myth: You can't get pregnant if you douche after s3x

Hello subs, so today's Monday myth is based on a discussion that came up with I and a couple of friends on Friday. We were talking generally on everything from movies, music, books, memories and many more. Honestly the whole discussion got me to realize a whole lot of new things. Last Friday was like everybody decided to talk about different things that has happened to them or that they have done that I could never imagine. Oh well...I know better than feeling I know everyone too well. During our discussion on different topics we managed to steer into a topic that has to do with s3x and intimacy. I never realized how many people believed in douching after intimacy to prevent pregnancy. Anyway here I am to debunk that myth...

Monday Morning Jogging?...Anyone?

Hello and good morning everyone. You might be wondering why I am posting as early as 5 in the morning. Well this is usually the time I get up to do my early morning exercise but due to work I've kind of been skipping the exercise for a while or cutting it short. Well I got a good rest this weekend and for some odd reasons I am having a crazy energy boost this morning. Usually by this time i'll slot in my INSANITY workout DVD on days I have time. On days I don't have time on my hands I either do a random exercise, T25 workout or a short session of jump roper. Well today I am switching up and doing something I haven't done in a long while. I am going outside to run....

7 months?... Gone?...wow!

Good morning y'all! How are you all settling into the new month. I am looking to hear some great news from you guys very soon. Remember our accomplishments section is still here so feel free to write to me and i'll put it up for you. It's free!

Ooookaaay then....We have two great news today! First of all, today is the date for the most anticipated boxing match of recent times. I mean at their weighing in alone was the first time that tickets was sold at a weighing in. 11,500 people showed up for that alone. The fight tonight is going to be something else.
Today is the day that Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao take on each other to prove who the best actually is. We don't care what their past records might have been. How many wins, losses or draws that each of them might have had in the past. Whoever wins today is the world best. Honestly as a big boxing fan I do not know who to go for. I am leaning more towards Floyd but i'm still confused. We all know Floyd is very good and has presently never lost any fight in his career but Pacquiao is ready to surprise anyone at any time. The speed and rhythm on that guy is something else. So are there any boxing fans in the family? Who are you supporting today?

Friday Fact: Water is the better choice

Yeah you read that right...Water is the better choice because it has no calories at all. None! Nada! Nil! Zero! I know you might doubt this if you have climbed a scale after drinking water. The only reason you might get heavier when you climb a scale after drinking only water isn't because you have added body fat or muscle mass. It's simply water weight and once you sweat or pee, it'll all be gone. That one is easier to loose than calories.

In the world of fitness, weight gain and weight loss. The number of calories you consume everyday plays a big role. It could be the difference between maintaining your desired weight, having a higher or having a lower weight than desired.

May Focus: Chances

Holla!!!....It's the month of May you awesomely crazy AskRalph family people. I wrote yesterday on how the monthly focuses I write on shouldn't be discarded once the month is over. We should learn how to work on the Monthly focus through the month and make it a part of us so that when the new months focus comes in, we would be used to the past one already. So you all remember that last months focus was on Appreciation. Appreciation of the simple things in life, the finer things that we get so easily, the things supplied to us by nature and by our environment. Those things that we take for-granted because of how easily they come to us. Well I want you all to take a moment and reflect on that...All done?... Promise to stay thankful and appreciative?...Awesome! Then let's step into the new month.

This new Month's Focus is All about CHANCES!....Still don't understand?...Even with the picture above *stares with jaw wide open* nawa 4 una o...Lol. Don't mind me that's fine, follow me so I can explain better...

Goodbye April.....Holla at May

Good morning fam! Hope you are all ready to kick it in full gear into this month. This month no dulling is permitted o! I just thought to let you guys know that one first...Alright moving on...

It's the first day of the month and if you haven't already done this as at yesterday evening then this morning is the perfect time to reflect on last month. It's time to sit down and recollect everything that happened for the past 30 days. It's time to look at the good, the bad and the ugly. It's time to appreciate the good times and toss the bad times away but not before learning a good lesson form them. Remember that every bad experience is an opportunity to learn something new.
Today I want you to reflect on the past month and point out to yourself, those mistakes that you made. The thing about mistakes is that most times, you will feel that the fact that you have made them once will make you immune to making them again. The truth actually is that if you do not recognize them first of all as mistakes and make conscious effort to find a way to tackle them in the future, then most likely you will make them again. Start today by recognizing and realizing your past errors before you will be able to make moves to fix them.
