Wednesday Self Motivation

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are feeling great this morning. So guess what day it is! Yeah I know my post picture gave it away...It's hump day! Y'all know what hump mean right? hehehehe....you evil minded human beings, this post isn't in the bedroom business section is it? So it's not the other meaning of hump that i'm talking of.  Alright for those who don't know what hump is. Picture a camel or look up a picture of a camel if you don't know what a camel is also...don't look at the one on my post picture o! *yimu*. lol. Alright now look at the middle of the camel, you see the stuff protruding from the middle of it's back right? That is a hump!..

Hump day is like the middle day of a typical working week and seeing that the typical working week consists of 5 days which is Monday - Friday, Wednesday is the hump day. Just like a mountain or better yet a very tall step peoples mentality towards it when they get to the middle seems to vary. You see Wednesday is either the first best day of the week for some people or the next worst day of the week after Monday. Don't worry i'll explain this better by using a tall step or a mountain as an example.

Now picture climbing a very high mountain or step and getting to the very top of it. You look backwards and see quite alright that it was a very tall climb, you are glad to be on top but then you look forward and it's almost as if you are going to start your journey all over again just to make it to the other side of the obstacle. The middle of that climb either motivates you to keep moving or discourages you to turn back.
Naturally it is the same thing for most people on Wednesdays. Everyone has 2 reaction to Wednesdays. It's either you wake up and look at your calendar, on realizing it's already wednesday you think to yourself how fast the week is running. Second reaction to this is to fall back on your bed and wonder why the gods have decided to curse you with a slow week. For some people Wednesday signifies that they have made it to the middle of the week and that they have only two more days for the week to be over. For others it means to them that they have crawled forever and made it to the middle of the week but they still have to endure two whole days before the sweet weekend comes.

As you can see, it is all about how you decide to perceive the situation. You can decide to see it in a positive way or in a negative way. You can either decide to be motivated or discouraged by it. Either ways the mind set you have is absolutely up to you. Either way it won't change anything so why not opt for a more positive and productive mind state. You could either see it as a long journey till the weekend or as a short one. Make sure that your mind state only works as a motivation for you to achieve your goals before the weekend comes and brings in all the fun and distractions.

So how is it for you? Does the weekend seem too far away? Or does it seem too near? I think it seems too close for me. How about you?

Happy Hump Day guys
