Alternatives for bad knees





Good morning everyone, how is you all doing this wonderful morning. Today i'm feeling like a health and fitness coach so I guess that's what today's post is going to be about. There is a particular problem that most people face when they workout apart from the occasional body aches and pains. I am talking of pains to the knees. This mostly occurs with people that are doing cardiovascular exercises. These group of exercises are very important for a healthy heart and are one of the fastest ways of burning off unwanted fat. Because of their high level of impact, they tend to affect the knee a lot. It is very important to keep your knees safe when you work out. So today i'm going to give you guys some tips on exercises and different ways to reduce the impact of exercises on your knees. Ready?






Here are a few tips....



  • Wear Knee sleeves: Look at the picture above on this post, do you see the white thingy that the lady is wearing on her knee? That's a knee sleeve. It helps hold your knees in place when you have to do those exercise. However they are more of preventive measures. So if you want to avoid the injuries before they happen then put on a knee sleeve each time you exercise.
  • Swimming: Swimming is one of the best cardiovascular exercises out there. It does a whole lot and works out your entire body from head to toe. The best part of this exercise is that it has little to no impact on your knee joints so they are perfect substitutes for your other cardio exercises.
  • Cycling: It could be your stationary bike or it could be your everyday bicycle but either way, cycling is good for you and even though it has some impact on your knees, it's not too intense and is far better than any jumping exercise.
  • Squats:  If you must squat to build your lower body strength then make sure you aren't going fully down, try to do more of partial squats and stop right before the pain comes in. It might take longer to build the muscles this way but it beats not squatting at all.
  • Walking: Yes..walking is an exercise, not your lazy stroll but a power walk. It is a low impact cardio exercise and is effective if you keep it up. If you aren't able to do any kind of work out that impacts your knee even minimally then this is one of your best substitutes. It's time to walk it out


These are just a few alternatives you can take to help ease the pain on your knees. Take very good care of your knees. It is very good to exercise to keep up a healthy living but pay close attention to your knees when you work out. If you feel any kind of sharp pain or irregular discomfort on your knee then stop what you are doing immediately. Consult a doctor or physician to help you analyze better and correct anything that might have gone wrong.

Kudos to you Mr Ralph.at times guys think to to be special fit is to wake up one morning an hit the gym because of the love of abs without knowing the full tips,rules and knowledge behind it.i commend you for this enlightment.
