Fat Packs

 

   So I was speaking with one of my friends and personal critics earlier for fitness and he insisted that it wasn't possible for muscle to be built on top of fat in the abdomen. He said that a simple sit up with consistency would torch all the belly fat and give you amazing abs.


   The picture above is a perfect example of what I have been talking about and that is what I like to call The Fat Packs. As you can see, that isn't attractive no matter the angle you look at it from. You cannot build a good looking defined six packs muscle on top of your belly fat. That is exactly what it is going to look like. As I have always insisted on and will keep saying. Make sure to put in more aerobic and cardio exercises to your training regime to trim down your fat first before starting any core exercise to strengthen you abs. Get your heart rate up and your body fat percentage would definitely go down. Don't forget to be consistent in your workout as different body types vary. If your body is used to holding on to fat then you need to work more but remember not to over train. 



N.B : I always talk about getting your heart rate up and getting it to beat faster to loose weight but I don't mean the type you get when your mum is about to have at you with her shoe.
