Who was she chatting with?

....I was seating in the living room putting on nothing but my 3-quarter shorts and a punk leather bracelet I was fond of. The TV was on but I was paying no attention to it as I was lost in thought, remembering what had happened the previous day. Yesterday Evening I came back late from work and my girlfriend never bothered to come give me my usual welcome kiss,I suspected nothing at first and walked into the room, she didn't notice my presence, she was looking good as usual laying there on the bed with her face glued to the screen of her phone. I observed that she was wearing her make-up and it seemed unusual for someone that was home throughout the day. Anyway I called to her "hey babe, how was your day? no kiss for moi?" She was laying with her front to the bed, torso elevated and supported by her elbows with two hands on the phone, I could see a smile from the side of her face directed at her screen and she simply swung her hand backwards and waved at me without even turning around to look at me, she didn't make a sound either. I frowned and leaned on my right leg to get a view of what was on her screen but couldn't see it clearly. What was she doing with her phone?
For the rest of the day I hardly got any attention to myself, even when she cooked she got absent minded and almost burnt the food but maintained a steady smile while pressing the screen on her touchscreen smart phone. I observed her throughout the rest of the day and hardly got any sleep that night because of it. So the next day I decided that I was going to check her chat and know who she was chatting with as it was now obvious to me that someone else was stealing her attention. I came back early from work and sat in the living room waiting for her to come back and shortly after she walked into the house and  came over to me. I puckered up for a kiss and you can imagine the way I hopelessly licked my lips in anticipation of my usual smooch as she planted the kiss on my forehead and walked past me. I cleaned the saliva from my mouth and swallowed my disappointment, I had to stay focused because that phone had to be examined thoroughly for possible threats, the fate of my love life and of cos sweet home made okro soup depended on it.
I heard her walk into the bathroom and turn the shower on so I snuck into the room to take advantage of that short while that she will be separated from her phone and find out who was threatening my okro soup...sorry, love life. Anyway I walked into the room and couldn't find the phone, I checked everywhere from the pillows to the little opening above our ceiling fan and couldn't find the thing. The bathroom door opened as I was in a pull-up position checking the top of the wardrobe, she walked out with the phone in her hand, staring at the screen and as usual wearing that ever increasingly annoying smile on her face, she didn't even notice me and I just watched her from my suspended position walk straight into the living room. My hand gave out and I landed on the wooden chair but don't worry, my back broke the fall. I got up and dusted my shorts and with a serious determination to find out what was happening I decided it was time to pull out the big guns so this was what I did next.
I crouched low and crawled towards the door of the room, rolled over a couple of times in an attempt to look more tactical and stopped only to squash in between my fingers a soldier ant that looked suspicious. Next I hid behind a wooden shelf I had and peeked right through the ceramic figures on it, she still didn't notice my presence, I descended lower to the floor in a spider position but knocked over the shelf and the figurines fell to the floor and shattered into pieces. Somehow she still didn't notice my presence, so I imitated a snake like movement or whatever it was I was doing then on the floor was called and slithered my way to the back of the couch that she was sitting ignoring the injury I was caused myself from the scattered sharp pieces of ceramic on the floor. I finally made it to the back of the couch that she was seated. .
The moment of truth was here, I quickly did a partial sign of the cross with a triple tap to my chest and a kiss blown to the sky to end the ritual, then slowly and surely stealthily I started rising from behind her. My heart was palpitating, I held my breath, the sweat on my forehead was strolling down my face. I finally saw the screen of her phone and I couldn't control my anger. I screamed out at her "whyyyyy?!! " and with a shrieking scream, she threw the phone into the air in surprise, for a brief moment and in slow motion I paused and admired my proficient stealthy skill that I used to surprise her. We both reached for the phone with arms stretched out and it landed face first on the ground and shattered. Perhaps I shouldn't have paused to admire my skills
I stared wide eyed at her and she turned with a face mixed with horror, terror, anger and I believe a hint of a killing intent. With the tiniest voice but still in surprise of what I saw I whispered to her "It was just candy crush saga?"....

It's been 3 months since that faithful day and all my monthly salary has been going to savings for a new phone. I would have you all know that I am being forced against my will to buy a new phone for her when clearly we were both at fault but don't tell her I am protesting, this is a silent protest. She also plans on having me play candy crush till I beat all the levels she had beat and reach all her high scores. Although it is unfair that I broke a Techno phone and I am being made to buy a HTC I can't seem to complain much. Who knew candy crush would be the end of my financial stability...

Ok. This is the best suspense filled story I've read all week. The fusion of his fears, his home made okro soup...sorry-love life, his anticipation, his stealthy skills, his eventual realisation, and insensitive significant other made it a lovely read. Go Ralph!
