Don't Forget to stretch



   My coach used to say "Never skip your stretch". It is a very important part of your workout. Stretching before your workout and most importantly after the workout is extrememly important but unfortunately most people do not know this. I am here to educate you guys a little more on the benefits of a simple stretch.

   The reason why you wake up the morning after your workout with so much ache in your body is probably because you thought it was a waste of time completing the stretch phase of your exercise. There are different ways to stretch different parts of the body depending on the one you worked on for that day. Benefits of stretching you say? Yeah Ralph knows some benefits it gave him...

  • It helped reduce the risk of injury by freeing up my muscles (they say this is a myth so I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me)
  • Flexibility is increased by doing it often, I noticed that touching my toes while keeping my knees straight became increasingly possible everyday
  • As days passed by I could go deeper and deeper in my stretch
  • It helps increase the circulation of blood and nutrients through the body
These are just a few of the benefits I would like to give out as there are lots and lots more that you are missing out on. And even on a regular day without any exercising done it is important to get in some stretches once in a while as it helps in relieving stress, eases tension in the muscles of your back , eases off pain in your lower back and many more.

I didnt knw stretching helped flexibility. i thought it was jst for cracking my bone
