Take a load off

Good morning everyone! Its Friday again and we are going to be TGIFing! Can't wait to go out and let loose this evening. I had a Freakishly exhausting day yesterday and that's what I get for coming to work late the previous day and piling up my work. It's not like today is going to be any better but all the same we 'TGIF'.
So first of all let me apologize for my absence yesterday and advice you guys, please don't leave so many things unattended to, there is always time for everything, work now and laze about later. Now thinking of our topic this morning i'm beginning to think I contradict myself a lot with advicing you guys to face your work...hmmmm. Well that's life for you, it's full of contradictions, you can't lean to one side, you have to learn to balance things out. Alright moving on...before I start sounding like a school teacher.

Before we move on to our topic for today I wanted to point out something and someone. *waves at Thelma*... Do you guys realize that in a week Thelma has beat Esit and Freeborn to be the Top contributor? I mean she is leading Esit with 12 whole points. I think she deserves a reward but only if she is able to hold that position until it's time for our next GIVEAWAY. So do I sense competition from any other people? Y'all are going to let her snatch the winning price so easily? I don't think so! Okay that's also my way of bribing you guys to participate a little more, you can't blame me. I need the comments. lol

Enough of the ranting. We are talking RELAXATION! Taking a load off. Breathing out, exhaling, recovering from the crazy week. Switching up the routing from work to play. We don't want no dull Jacks and Janes up in here do we? Alright let's do this...

If your week was anything close to being as crazy as mine then you will know the importance of just taking a little break. It's good to get up every morning and go out to chase your goals but as I mentioned above, you can't lean too much to one side, life is all about balance. In the midst of all the seriousness, work stress and daily struggle we have to try and set out some time to just sit and do absolutely nothing or better yet do something different that isn't stressful, something fun. Through all the stress we pass through every single day of the week and the daily hustle we put ourselves through to make a better living we tend to forget some of the most important things. You know the important things i'm talking about right? It's Family, Friends, Peace of mind, Love and most of all your own personal happiness.
The importance of relaxation can not be emphasized enough. We are all humans and we need that little break. We all need that time out to do a little reality check and reassess the reasons why we struggle in the first place. You can't claim to struggle for peace and unity in your family and loose your family in the process because you are too concentrated on something else (and this is just mentioning one example of things that could go wrong while you are too busy). Most of the personal issues we face in our family and with our friends is actually fueled by stress. It has a way of blocking your better judgement. It has a way of making something out of nothing. Those little issues in your family that could be easily solved if you were more relaxed tend to excalate into something else and at the end of the day you find yourself wondering how you got to where you are. There is just one answer to it all...RELAX!. Relax a little more...

Trust me when I say this, the stress you pass through everyday can make you loose yourself totally. Let me ask you this question...When last did you do something you loved doing so much? When last did you do things that actually matter? When last did you finish a novel or at least even pick up a random book and look into it? When last did you just sit down put your feet up and not just hear music but actually listen to it? When last did you just enjoy the cool breeze around you? When last did you appreciate your family and friends? When last did you have a good chat with them? When last did you ask your child how their day was and actually stay interested in their response? I'm talking of a real talk with your sons and daughters not just a check up you do because you feel you have to. If you haven't done these things in a while then I think you have your reason to take a little time off. Remember who you are and don't loose yourself in the craziness of this life. Take some time to attend to the things that really matter. Don't loose yourself and your loved ones while you are busy chasing dreams, you will only end up in a nightmare.

I wish you all a stress free weekend. Learn to relax a little, there is time for everything. At the end of this post I want you to drop a comment and state something you have always loved to do but haven't done in a while. I'll go first...

I haven't played any sports in a while. I mean yes I do my regular exercise but an actual sports like basketball. I miss doing that and i'm going to do that this weekend. what of you?

Alright guys, I have a presentation at the office today and the auditors are tough, wish me luck! TGIF!
