Q&A : The Recent child abuse video

Q: Mr Ralph, I am sure you have seen the recent video circulating. You know the one about the abusive helper that brutalized the little girl she was meant to be taking care of. I can't help but to feel bad and sorry for the family. I know what I would have done to the girl if it was me but Ralph I am eager to know your opinion. How do you think that this should have been handled. I heard the girl was beaten up by the Father of the child and she ended up in the hospital seriously damaged. Also heard that she might be facing some jail time. What do you think should have been done and how do you think this should be prevented from happening.




A: Well I am going to answer this question as two different people as I feel it is only fair to look at it from two different roles given my position in this blog. I would speak as Ralph the blogger and then I would speak assuming the role of the father of the girl. So first of, as Ralph...

I believe that families should start planning better on how to handle the roles of taking care of these kids. I understand that some families need the two heads of house to put in work so as to be able to make ends meet but as you can see the risk that follows, is dangerously on the rise.  It would be much better to adjust budgets and downsize a little for the kids to be safe instead of leaving them in the hands of strangers. The parents could also look into dropping the kids off at their parents house or close relatives that they are in good terms with. I emphasize on the ones you are in good terms with because these days even family could be a danger to you and your kids. The woman could also look into starting a little thing at home. like some hand work or opening a little shop where she can easily have her child around while doing the little she can and needs to do to support the family. If on any occasion she feels she needs to hire a nanny then I think she should be home regardless and make the nanny's work to be little things like sweeping the house and other chores so she can have the time to show direct attention to her child.
   About how it should have been handled, I think the man should have taken her to the police immediately for disciplinary actions by the authority. Anything they do to her from there would be of her own doing and a result of what she brought on herself by her evil actions towards that child. Because if it was in a some countries, regardless of what she did, they would have locked the man up for physically attacking her. Also she would have been tried as a minor and the worst would have been sending her off to juvie. I however understand the pain it must have caused the man to see he's child being rag-dolled , so I know how impossible it must have been at that point to keep a cool mind state and do what was right.


   Now if I was to speak while assuming that it was my daughter I saw being treated that way. Let me just say that the man didn't do enough to her. The Uzbekistan's house of torture would look like a play room when I am done with her. I won't go into details of what I would do because Google might shut down this blog if I do. But I think you get the picture of what I mean already, right? Wrong! you haven't even began to imagine what would happen. Let me just leave it at that for now. Thanks
