Problem with the Extra Skin?


   

       Often times we exercise and shed a lot of body fat which is good. But then at times there is a general problem that people complain of which is the left over skin, that extra flabby skin that just won't disappear. So let us look and see the causes, effects and possible remedies to this condition.

   
      If you are having this as a problem then the first thing you should do is find out your body fat percentage. At times the problem isn't that your skin has gone flabby. It might just mean you haven't melted all the fat away, so get your body fat percentage checked out first as it help you know where you are with your body and if further reduction is safe. If that is the problem then you can start trying to put in some weight and muscle exercise into your workout calendar, instead of doing just cardio and burning off the fat. It will help you convert some of that fat into lean muscle, so look into that.
    Another cause of the problem might be with your skin elasticity,being over weight stretches out your skin and at times the skin loses its ability to return to its normal size, this happens as one ages but as I have read, it isn't impossible for youths to suffer this. So depending on your age, the problem might actually be this. There are several ways to get rid of this like...


  • Improving your nutrition and adding more proteins and foods with healthy oil like cheese and nuts to your feeding cycle
  • Staying hydrated
  • Surgical procedures
  • Take vitamin C daily (I personally do this and it works wonders)
  • Take Gelatin daily
  • Try out some skin tightening cosmetic products like creams and soaps (mostly the ones with purely natural ingredients as I would never advice products with excessive chemicals).
 These are a few things you can try out to know which works best for you. Also I would advice you against instant weight loss, if you rush over your workout and drop a drastic amount of weight in a very short time then it could cause the extra skin to show up,  gradually lose the weight over time with natural exercises and a reasonable diet so that you give your body time to adjust. This will help cut the chances of it happening again.

Use weights. I don't know why women shy away from using weights. I lost 26kg recently after i had my third child. I used to wear size 14/16 now I wear size 8(us size 4). The only thing that tells I have ever had a child are the stretchmarks on my tummy. My tummy is flat, my thunder tights are now toned, even my cellulites are gone. I'm not muscular at all. The curves are still there. I do weight and body weight training. I just wish more women would listen and believe. If you doubt me, you can view my instagram page @ bernice_sweet I would upload my most recent pics and videos hopefully next week after i fix my pad(I'm currently using my black berry). Pls don't shy away next time your gym instructor asks you to use weights so you don't have lose or saggy skin when you eventually lose weight.
