Dear Ralph: I love cartoons


Dear Ralph
 I usually read your blog everyday and I must say that you do a really good job with it, you inspire people with your write ups and that is really good. Thank you very much. So I read your post today on that cartoon you say you liked a lot and I was surprised that a man like you still watched cartoons and I decided to write this. I'm 22. My girlfriend thinks that watching cartoons at my age is lame. I love cartoon's and can't help it. i'm scared she'd leave me. She really takes it seriously and I don't know if I should just stop watching it around her. I have resulted to watching it only when she is away and I think that is just wrong. What do I do?

          There is nothing wrong with watching cartoons. Lots of people your age, younger and even far older than you watch cartoons very well, some of them are educating and they provide a good entertainment and laugh. However if you are stuck watching cartoons every single time and not doing anything productive with your time then that might be the reason your girl gets annoyed at you. Either ways you should try and look for what in particular it is that annoys her about your habit.
     You can also tell her to come join you that you want to show her what you enjoy, sit her down and watch it with her. Explain it more with her so that she understands and most likely she will also get interested in seeing one, once in a while. This would work especially if her problem was that she isn't getting enough attention thanks to you always watching cartoons. So just find out what in particular her problem is then you will know how to tackle the problem better.

And the most important part, when you both start watching TV be it movies or cartoon. I am begging you with all my heart not to forget the refreshment. Have a nice bottle...sorry, have a nice one...
