Dear Ralph: How can I reduce my eating


Good day Mr Raphael,
        I trust everything has been good with you lately. Well my problem is for the health section, I hope that isn't a problem as I have noticed you do mostly relationship advice. Anyway, my problem is my love for food. Ralph, I cannot pass food by without wanting to eat it. I am very lucky because I am one of those people that no matter what I eat I cannot increase so there is no need to kill myself with exercising . But I am really concerned for this nasty habit. Sometimes I feel bad within myself when I regain consciousness in the middle of munching down on a bowl of food. I feel kind of ugly inside and I hope you will be able to tell me a way to help myself. I am single and I am worried that any man I meet might not like this my habit. My body might not show it at first but I know once I settle in with the person and get comfortable my habit would happen without me knowing. Please what can I do? Oh and sorry sorry to hear about your blackberry and I hope you replace it soon so I can add you directly and we can chat for some other problems that I am facing.          Thank you for visiting the blog and don't worry about the category your problem falls into. I always try my best to help no matter what problem you bring to me.  I know what you mean about your condition and I know a thing or two you can do to curtail the habit. As long as you are willing to try it out. But first of all I would like to know if you want some beer from our ask Ralph fridge? just take as much as you want. Lol.
      
       First of all I want you to try and increase the number of times you eat in a day but wait let me explain well. Take the normal portion of food that you eat in a meal and split into two, then eat one of the half as one meal, then before your lunch you take another, take another meal during lunch, a while after lunch eat again and finally eat something light during dinner. Now I know it looks like a lot but you are teaching your body to accept smaller meals. Slowly but only with self discipline you would have to start eliminating some of those meals in the middle but only if you want to. There is nothing wrong with eating 4 to 5 times a day if you control your food portion. When you do this you would notice that your plate won't look so full anymore and you won't feel bad when you see what you are eating and at the same time you would still satisfy your habit while eating healthy.
     Try to eat food that contains protein like beans, meat, egg and the rest. I have found that protein fills the stomach faster. So this might be able to help and keep you full for some time. Just practice these  for now and be patient with it, it won't be easy to change the habit instantly but with time you would definitely notice progress.
     Now luckily for you weight loss isn't your problem but then I want you to know that exercise isn't always for weight loss. Physical fitness is very important for your general life and health so you still need to start thinking of doing exercises. Also, don't worry about the man you would meet in the future, you would never know who you would come across so learn to be yourself and have people accept you for who you are. It is the best thing you can do to keep a happy and healthy relationship.

      Most advice are on relationship maybe because of the kind of crowd I am pulling for now so don't feel strange, ask ralph blog is for everybody who needs any kind of help. Your presence is very much appreciated
