The road to success

Alright before you shout my head off for closing the elevator, let me explain things to you. See now, if I let you take the elevator, you would end up in a room that looks like the one you are looking for. The only problem with this room is that although it might look like what you are looking for, it's not actually the real room.


Looking for the short way always in life is wrong. I know that there are people that mistakenly hit the jackpot and found success under few tries but you have to know that those are exceptions. I don't mean that they themselves are exceptions, I mean the situation they found themselves is the exception. No two people have the same destiny, so you cannot use other peoples path to compare yours. The default road to success is narrow and if it was a building it'll be the long stairs not the elevator.

The mistake most people make is looking for the easy way and comparing to the success of those that got it the easy way. But here is what you don't know, most of those people weren't looking for an easy way. They were walking the normal road and luckily for them, they found an open path or a shortcut that led to their destination. They mistakenly found success faster than they expected.

Walk your road the normal way. Just because a couple of people luckily found a shortcut doesn't mean you can take that same road. Your own road is different, if you keep consciously looking for a shortcut, you will end up in the bush. Let it happen on it's own and remove your mind from it. When you reach your destination only then will you understand how worth it the long road actually is.
