Monday Myth: Targeted fat loss



Most people would love to sell you the idea that it is possible to isolate a particular part of your body and burn the fat there without affecting the rest of your body, they do it either to sell a product or out of ignorance, well that fact is wrong.
   Your body simply converts fat from your body to energy when it's in need of it. Most people would like to target their abdominal muscles and are told to do a ridiculous amount of crunches and sit-ups everyday to loose the fat there, well crunches are only going to strengthen your core muscles and not slim them down. The only way to loose fat in any part of the body is to burn more calories than you take in, which can be achieved by eating less but healthy and exercising more. Just combine some cardio training, a healthy feeding lifestyle and maybe some weight training and you'll be good to go.
