Monthly Poll: What do you expect from the new government

With the conclusion of last months polls, I would be introducing the polls for this month but not before I call the results for last months polls.

Remember that you will only see the option to vote on the polls if you are browsing from a PC or Laptop. They are normally located to the left of the blog. Mobil devices aren't supported by this widget. So if you are on a phone then try to jump on a desktop so you can vote. Your participation would be very much appreciated.

Last month we had a little friendly competition between the men and the women via our monthly polls. The question was this. If one single partner was to choose the number of babies to be born into a family, who should it be? Should it be the Man or the Woman. Well our BV's voted and we got our results. So are you ready to find out who should be the one to have the final say on how many children a family should have between the husband the wife?

The result had 46% percent of the Votes for the Men and 53% of the votes for the Women.
So sorry guys, according to the result from the polls. When it comes down to choosing between the man and the woman, a single person to make that decision then It should be left to the woman. It makes sense though, she is the person to bear the nine months of housing a different person, sharing of nutrients and drastic physical and emotional changes. The changes they go through when they are pregnant isn't easy to endure. I guess the polls got it right. The women should choose. However remember that this is just a friendly poll and it doesn't mean that it is the way to go. It was just a little competition. The best way would be for the couple to make that decision together. Do not make a decision like this on your own in a marriage because of this survey. Instead involve your partner and plan your family together. It is the best way to go and the most peaceful thing to do. The two parties should be fully involved.

Alright then.. on to this months polls.

Inspired by the new government on seat in our country yet not limited to only Nigeria I thought up this survey. The question is "What do you expect from the new government". Or maybe I should say "what do you expect from the government in your country". If you had a single thing to choose between a number of things that the government should prioritize on, what would it be for you? What is the single thing you would choose for the government to concentrate on from the following...

  • Power Supply
  • Building of Roads
  • Setting up Infrastructures
  • Providing Employment
  • Fighting Terrorism
  • Fighting Corruption
  • Improving the Education Sector
  • Fuel Stability
  • Building the countries Economy

So what would it be if you were to choose just one or better yet, what will you do if you were the one on the seat and you were to choose just one thing to wok on among all these options. Also remember to explain your reason for choosing what you did in the comment section below.

Feel free to drop any other sectors you feel that are more important than the ones I have put up and explain why you feel that your choice should be the governments priority but vote on the choices I have put up. So let's hear it fam...

I'll go with providing employment,..
The bible clearly states that an idle mind z the devil's workshop, provision of employment would serously help in curbing the rate of crime in our country,if each and every one is gainfully employed, non would have the urge, space or time to become a nuisance to the society, its the lack of employment that makes our youth becomes political thugs and puppets in the hands of the well to do... So creation of jobs wud inturn make our country safer and reduce crime rate to the barest minimum... .
Lemme stop here biko...

Electricity!!!!!!!!

Everybody's has made good points but when I went through this you have to think of the most important amongs the important and for me it is terrorism then corruption and so on. I choose terrorism first because if they do not fight terrorism and the situation gets bad who would come out for work? This will affect electricity, repairing roads, fuel stability, employment etc. Because it is human beings that are doing all these things and if there is terrorism who will come out? Then no 2 is corruption if you do not fight corruption d system will still be rotten and people will keep cutting corners, nothing will grow then we will be back to square one.

Sodlid point you have right here. Terrorism because even if you had all the electricity and all. Terrorism would destroy it all if you don't do anything about it. Nice input Laetatio
