Focus of the Month: Hard work and dedication.

It's time for our Monthly Focus and I am Happy I could post it on the first day of the Month. Usually i'll be too caught up at work, big ups to the boss man for not giving me a huge work load.

As we say goodbye to the month of May and welcome the month of June. We do not say goodbye to the focus of the previous month, we only make way for our new Months Focus while still practicing the old ones. These Focus that I give out every month are meant to be kept at the back of your mind and worked on through the duration of the month so that at the end of the month it would have become part and parcel of you. The only way to do that is by actually practicing on the focus frequently. You don't just read on it once and push it aside until the next time I talk about it. It's not just about commenting on the post. You have to be willing and dedicated to see it through and when the month finally runs out, you still have to practice it.

So who is ready to become a better person through this months Focus?....

You know those dreams you have? Those goals you want to achieve in different areas of your life. Those milestones you want to cross? Or the records you want to break in order to set new ones? Be it your education, work, hustle, political, social, fitness or any other area. Well they will all end up as dreams and wishes that will never come through if you do not add these two ingredients to your everyday struggle. Through this month of June we are going to be focusing on those two ingredients, namely hard work and dedication.

I know that there are always exceptions to everything we do in life. There are people that didn't have to hustle hard to get to where they are. Either they were left a huge amount of wealth by someone who loved them very much or they ran into some other kind of luck. The fact is that those people are only a minority of the successful people. The majority of those that attained a high level of success and fulfilled their dreams by themselves did so by applying Hard work and Dedication. If you look at the exceptions and judge by their luck just remember that your luck is different. It's best to work hard for your goals, instead let the luck assist you and not be what you bank on for success.

These two ingredient go hand in had like salt and pepper. One cannot go without the other. Let's take a look at them again and what each of them is without the other then you might get to understand more.

Hard work: Hard work, simply put into a definition is applying a great deal of effort. It's putting in a great deal of effort towards your goal. It is the physical effort that you apply to achieve the goal you want to achieve. Now picture yourself climbing a tall ladder. The physical energy you use to climb that ladder is the hard work. But what happens when you aren't dedicated to it? You are going to loose the mental will to keep on climbing, you will get to a point where you will loose all motivation to carry on and you will give up the climb. That is what happens when you work hard but have no dedication.

Dedication: Dedication simply put is your commitment to achieving the goal you have set out for yourself. It is the mental focus, that positive distraction you need to keep your mind on the commitment you have made towards your dreams. So like I used above, picture yourself climbing a ladder, you have already applied the physical energy which is hard work but it is the dedication that will keep you climbing till you get to the top. If there is no dedication then you will find yourself giving up in no time. However what do you feel will happen when there is dedication with no Hard work? Well do you remember those days that you set a goal to get up in the morning and workout? Or to go out and start up a business? Then you end up postponing it till you finally do nothing. Well that was dedication with no hard work. You were dedicated mentally but physically you made no moves which is really pointless. The mind was willing but the body was reluctant.

So with this you see that hard work is more of physical and dedication is more mental. They need each other to be able to work and you need both of them to be able to grow. Start today, start now to cancel any kind of procrastination from your mind. Do not give up because of the difficulties you will encounter on the road. If you see a hurdle that you feel you can't jump then think again before you turn around and give up. It isn't a sign that you should stop trying, it is a sign that you should try harder and work harder.

With hard work and dedication you are going to be able to achieve anything you want. You will rise to great heights with them. Giving up is not an option. It is a new day so you have to stay mentally and physically dedicated to those your goals. This is all I ask of you this month.  I need you to trust and believe in this method, it works!

Work Hard and stay Dedicated today..Make the sky your starting point!
