Having problems? Could be the little things...



You know how little surprises, gift packages, outings and general trips can add little by little to make you love your partner more. You know how good it feels and how it piles up and you just can't explain how those things make you so into your partner? Yeah...now let's flip this right around. So every single time, your partner keeps doing this tiny and almost insignificant thing to annoy you. It's like they don't even know how irritating these little things are. Somehow you are always angry around them and when you are asked what the problem is, you just stand and stare. You don't know why you are so angry and almost at the brink of breaking up with them but you just know you aren't happy where you are. It is because these little things add up just the same way the good things do. It can be really frustrating and the frustration only increases when you get angry and can't put a finger on why. That is the reason I keep telling you guys to try and talk over issues. The only way to start getting it off your mind is to speak up about it, you would have solved half of the problem by doing this. If your partner is one to listen to you, then you are very luck. Although I still stand on the fact that you can communicate with anybody, you just need the right kind of approach to suit them and patience....lots of it.


So do you see why I keep hammering on speaking your mind? I know that talking all the time about your problem makes you feel like a nag. This is the mistake people make because nagging isn't about speaking all the time. It is about the manner you use to address the issue. If you use a good manner and know how to approach issues without being annoying yourself. If you try to approach issues with a clear statement that your intention is to fix things and not retaliate for the annoyance you've been made to feel, you would see the difference.

Just the same way you should show appreciation for any little thing that is done for you in a relationship or in life generally. I believe that's the same way you should voice out the little things that annoy you. Even if not immediately, make sure to voice them out as soon as possible, just don't hold it in. You keep bottling up and one day you are going to do something drastic and not still be able to place a finger on why you reacted the way you did.

Always remember, you might forget the what happened to you but the feeling is going to remain. Try to speak out, try to build on communication with your partner and people around you. Be happy by speaking your mind in the best way you know possible. The little annoying things add up as well...
