Friday Fact: Slimmer people aren't always healthier

       


     Because of the emphasis on weight loss and how the slimmer figure is known to look more attractive coupled with the fact that exercise keeps you healthy and slims you down. Most people believe that this mean, if you are to be health, you must loose a lot of weight. This isn't true, it is not a matter of the slimmer you are the healthier you become.



You find that most people starve themselves just to look slimmer but it doesn't necessarily make them healthy, it simply makes them malnourished. You might be slim on the outside but really unhealthy on the inside. Without taking the proper nutrients daily, your immune system would drop and you would easily catch any disease that is floating around.

The best thing to do is to get your nutrients by eating healthy, exercising regularly and keeping in touch with your doctor. Make sure to check yourself out every once in a while through a doctor in case of any infection or disease. The fear of increasing in size shouldn't push you away from living a healthy lifestyle. There is a big difference between being slim and being healthy.

If the slimmer you get the healthier you become then anorexia would be the best measure for fitness and health. You can easily tell someone isn't healthy by looking at them but even sometimes you cannot tell.

Also people who are naturally slim wonder why they still need to exercise. Exercising musn't always be attached to weight loss. You can simply exercise to be healthy, so you might look good and slim naturally but you still need to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. Giving yourself the excuse that you can eat anything because your body burns food fast is dangerous. Yes your body won't hold on to the sugary things you consume and store them into fat but you aren't immune to diabetes either so be careful.

Always maintain a healthy lifestyle regardless of your body type.
