Fact: Couples that listen or are interested in the same genre(s) of music tend to understand and communicate more with each other. Their relationships have a higher percentage of success than those who aren't interested in each others choice of music.
Common interests is one of the things that we need to consider when going into relationships. Having a similar interest with your partner can help create a closer bond. Musical interest is one big part that is often overlooked. When it comes to music it also reaches deeper to the way the song is understood.

Music has a magic to it that even without saying a single word to each other, you can tell if you are compatible or at least similar in a way to a person by the way they understand their music. Through the musical interest of each person and how similar those interests are, a unique bond can be formed. This is very crucial and plays a huge role on the probability of your relationship lasting.

If you have someone that just connects with you in a similar way through music then you are one of the lucky few. This doesn't mean that without this similar interest in music, that the relationships won't last. If you do not have the same interests there are still a million other ways to create and grow your bond.
