Monthly Focus: Patience

Hello guys, this months focus came quite late but better late than never right? I had a hard time concluding on what the months focus should be and I have finally decided on something. Thanks a lot for all your suggestions earlier, some of them helped me come to the conclusion. This Month I would like us to Focus on Patience!

Let's talk very briefly on the topic....

Patience they say isn't only about waiting, patience is the act of keeping a good attitude while waiting. Meaning that If you were waiting for something to happen and in the course of waiting you start to lash out, curse, get furious or exhibit any other negative acts then you weren't being patient or at least you were up until when you lost your temper. That is what people refer to as you having lost your patience.

Patience is very important in everything you do in life. The problem is that people mistake their patience to be a weakness to them. Yes, there are people that will use it to their advantage but you personally shouldn't see it as a weakness on your own. Instead you should see it as a strength, you should see it as the strength to endure and calculate. Patience isn't a sign of giving up or resignation, instead it is a sign that shows intention to tolerate in order to achieve or acquire that which you desire without any show (mostly outwardly) of regret, embarrassment or immaturity. I personally see patience as one of the highest forms of maturity and wisdom.

In your work, school, among friends and also very importantly, your family and relationship, patience is very important. It is that patience that will help you understand the next person and we all know that without understanding, there would be regular conflict be it verbal or physical. It is that patience that will help you not to misjudge your partner, your child or any other person for that matter for an act that at first glance looked different from what it actually is. Patience teaches us how to be more observant and to understand situations and people more. It shows us that the right decision isn't made by rushing into action but by taking your time and calculating carefully. It teaches us that things aren't always what they seem and that the more you wait, the more you will understand. It teaches rationality in judging even when all the evidence of a particular event proves a person guilty. Most importantly it shows us that with time, even the hardest tasks can be conquered.

Every great thing in life takes time. Every achievement is built with time. With patience, the greatest of things can be achieved. Your dreams and goals would come to you with time and patience. Time is one thing that can't be bypassed, no matter what you do the clock will never move faster or slower to favor you. Patience shows us how to work with that clock. To never panic when time is running out and to remain calm when the time isn't moving fast enough.

Patience is very important in everything you do. Take your time and think carefully to avoid rushing into conclusions. That evidence you are so convinced about at the first glance could mean something entirely different and if you are patient enough you might just find out the truth. Patience can help you achieve a lot of things in all areas of life, lack of patience always looks like a quick fix but in most cases ends up destroying a lot. Be patient....

I made a post last year on the topic when I had just started this blog and knew nothing about punctuation (not like I know much now though. lol). Read the first post WHEN YOU CLICK THIS LINK

It is really hard but it's always worth it at the end. Regardless of how you may look, the rewards remain worth it.
